Privacy policy

The quiz is the one piece of JavaScript on the site, and it is ours — written for this site, loaded from this domain, with no library behind it. The questions are already inside the page when it reaches you, so choosing an answer sends nothing anywhere: there is no request, no score submission and no server to receive one.

Your answers, the area grid and your progress bar live in the page's memory. Reload the page and they are gone; close the tab and they are gone. Nothing is written to local storage, so nothing survives to be read by the next page you visit, and a shared or public computer keeps no trace of your practice run once the tab is closed.

The trade-off is honest and worth stating: you cannot come back tomorrow and resume where you stopped, because saving that would mean storing it. On a 90-question bank that is a small price, and it is the reason this page is short.

The pages are static files served by a commercial hosting provider. Like every web server on the internet, it receives each request in order to answer it: the IP address it came from, the browser's user-agent string, the page requested, the time. The provider uses that to deliver the file and to absorb abusive traffic, and its security layer may set its own cookie for that purpose.

What does not happen is the part that matters. No analytics product sits on top of those logs, no identifier follows you between pages, and nobody here builds, buys or sells a profile of a visitor.

Three kinds of link leave this site, and each one hands you to somebody else's policy the moment you follow it.

The app button. It points at go.rbt-exam-prep.com, a redirector we run on a subdomain of this site. It reads one thing — the user-agent string your browser sends — to decide whether to send you to the App Store, to Google Play or to the practice test here. It sets no cookie, records no click and keeps no log of its own. A campaign tag in the link you followed is passed along to the store so the store can attribute the visit; nothing about you is added to it. From the store onward, Apple's or Google's terms govern, not ours.

Links to the board and to the test administrator. The only external destinations on this site are bacb.com and the Pearson VUE pages for scheduling. They are ordinary links: we are not told that you clicked, and once you arrive you are covered by their policies.

Nothing else. No cross-site pixel, no shared identifier, no third-party embed anywhere on the site.

There is no address on this site, no form and no support queue, so there is no route by which a message from you — and the personal data inside it — could arrive here in the first place. That is a deliberate omission rather than an oversight: an address a free study site cannot actually staff is worse than none at all.

It also closes the last gap in the table above. Everything else on this page describes data this site does not collect; this is the one thing a reader could otherwise hand over voluntarily. The contact page routes you instead to the board and to the test administrator, who hold your file and your appointment and have their own policies covering both.

Data-protection law — the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and its successors in California — gives you rights to see, correct, delete and port the personal data a site holds about you, and to object to it being processed. Those rights apply here in full. They are simply very easy to satisfy: this site holds no personal data about you at all, so there is nothing to disclose, nothing to correct and nothing to port.

There is also no controller-side record to ask about: no account, no log tied to you, and no message from you, because there is no channel through which one could arrive. If your jurisdiction has a supervisory authority for data protection, it remains available to you as it does for any site you visit.

This site is written for candidates for a credential that requires you to be at least 18 when you apply. It is not directed at children, has nothing on it aimed at them, and knowingly collects nothing from anyone of any age — which, given the table above, is not a difficult promise to keep.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the change will describe something the site started or stopped doing — nothing here ships behind an unchanged policy.
